“The Trouble with My Name”
Javier Ávila

“The Trouble with My Name” is a one-man show that addresses one Pennsylvania professor’s experiences and views of race, culture, and what it means to be Latino in America.  The show features Avila’s poetry, stories, and satirical humor.

The evening event is co-hosted by the Peace and Justice Center of Northeastern Pennsylvania, the Wilkes University Council on Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity, The King’s College Economics Department, and the AAUP Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance.
